The Andrew County Sheriff's Office is distributing Free Gun Locks and Firearms Safety Information In Partnership with Project Childsafe.

Sheriff Bryan Atkins of the Andrew County Sheriff's Office will be distributing free gun locks and safety information to community residents through Project ChildSafe, a nationwide firearm safety education and gun lock program.

Project ChildSafe's is commited to providing Andrew County residents with free gun locks for distribution to local residents. The program's purpose is to promote safe firearms handling and secure storage practices among all firearms owners to help prevent firearm accidents, theft and misuse.

Andrew County residents may pickup a gun locking device at the Andrew County Sheriff's Office Lobby Monday to Friday 8am-6pm while supplies last.
