Andrew County is located in the northwestern portion of Missouri and consists of a 435-square-mile area. The county has a population of approximately 18,000 residents. The county seat is Savannah, where the courthouse, sheriff's office, and other county government offices are located.
Andrew County was officially founded on January 29, 1841 and named after President Andrew Jackson. The county is agriculturally centered with several small towns located throughout. Several thousand acres of land are owned by the Missouri Department of Conservation and serve many hunters in search of white tail deer.
